Meeting with Pope Francis

We are proud to share with you that our student María Paula San Martín Amorrortu, in 10th grade, was chosen from more than 200 schoolchildren as
one of six Peruvian teenagers who will participate in a conversation with Pope Francis.

María Paula was part of the Scholas Cudonía experience, an initiative promoted by Pope Francis with the support of the Inter-American Bank of
Development (IDB) and the Ministry of Education (Minedu). For a week, together with students from public and private educational centers in Lima and Callao,
discussed the social problems of their communities and developed proposals for change. In our city, the teens participating in this program
they chose discrimination and centralization of education as the main problems in proposing solutions that can be implemented from the Government.

In the presence of the Minister of Education, Idel Vexler, the students were announced that they would be a part of this meeting and congratulated all the students on their
citizen commitment, as well as highlighting the integration that was achieved between public and private schools.

Maria Paula will meet with the Supreme Pontiff on Saturday, January 20in in Trujillo. We wish you blessings in this unprecedented experience of faith.
